Simple Yet Effective Way to Increase Your Income

If you are linking to WinZip on your website, thank you pages and even in your products - stop!

See, a few months ago I was making a ‘thank you’ page and decided to see if WinZip had a referral program. After all, I was sending them a lot of free traffic and thought I should try and get something out of it for myself. Well, to my surprise they didn’t and why should they? I have been giving them free links for years like everyone else.

At this point, I decided to find another program that is just as good and comes with a free trial also. Well, after a few hours of research I found a company that offered a good alternative, gave a trial and had referral program. So I decided to go with them and now I distribute ExpressZIP.

I have also stopped referring people to trial versions of ftp software like CuteFTP and now refer them to an FTP client that I sell called AtomicFTP. If you are interested in selling AtomicFTP. , you will need to join PBP.

    Awesome idea… If the rest of us marketers did this maybe winzip would get an affiliate program.

    Liz,

    There are others out there that offer affiliate programs also but most don’t allow someone to distribute the trial version and be “tagged” when someone downloads.

    You could also visit regnow.com. They offer some alternatives as well.
