Of course, I said no that the media control it. Well, I have changed my mind. Because of the Internet a relatively unaired Presidential candidate Ron Paul, www.ronpaul2008.com, has been picking up steam. Because of the Internet, the TV series Jericho to be picked backup as a mid-season show. Only brought one show back before once it’s been killed. There are hundreds of more examples. I have always known the Internet has a lot of power to change things for people but really never thought about just how global it can and does change things. It kinda makes me think about what else can be changed because of this thing we call the Internet. It also makes worried about it being used for evil doings and no, I don’t mean spam. Anyway, I did a little research and found that having the phishing filter turned on was causing the delay. Basically, the browser was checking each page to see if it was a phishing/scam site. So I did the smart thing, I turned it off.
