Are You Making These Deadly Mistakes?
The last few weeks I have told you about two safelists systems:
Wait a minute, I know you are thinking,
“Here comes another one.”
But there isn’t. I will tell you about some others later, after I do a little more testing, but what I am going to tell you about are some deadly safelist mistakes I see people doing everyday and it costs them - big time.
1. Don’t try and make a sale or advertise a program in the email or on the site.
I see programs being advertised everyday. Many times, the same ones by different people.
Don’t get me wrong. You can sell a few products and get a few referrals BUT if you would capture the email address by offering a ecourse a download, you would do much much better in the long run.
You would then be able to build your list and later promote products or services.
2. Only mention one thing in the email and on the website.
People wont read an email promoting multiple products. They dont have the time. After all, they are trying to do the same thing as you - promote.
Don’t distract people. Just Keep It Simple.
3. DON’T USE ALL CAPS IN YOUR SUBJECT LINE!
Caps is the online form of YELLING and we all know that its harder to understand people who YELL!
4. Make sure your site loads and loads quick.
If its a credit based system, you have 30 seconds or less (generally) before people can move to the next site. So make sure your site loads and fast.
5. Don’t make people look for your opt-in form.
If your headline grabs people, give them a way to opt-in right then. Don’t make them scroll to find it because they don’t have the time.
Have a opt-in form near the top of the page.
There you go. 5 things to make your safelist marketing more profitable.
Now this is where I am suppose to refer you to a product that will teach you even more safelist marketing techniques.
But I’m not going to.
However, if you would like to discuss safelist marketing, head on over to the AIS forum.
To YOUR Success,
