Yadda Yadda Yadda. You know, the same smoke they used about MySpace, Squido, HubPages, Facebook, etc. Now, don’t get me wrong. You can use these sites to build backlinks, advertise products, build relationships, etc. BUT the main reason I never used them is simple. I didn’t need another distraction. Something else that would take time for me to update. After all, I don’t even update my blog on a regular basis. So, I did like I always do when people tell me to jump on board w/ the next big thing. I deleted their emails and moved on. However, a few days ago I decided to go ahead and take a look at Twitter and now I am hooked. It’s really a great way to keep family, friends and clients up-to-date about what’s going on at the moment - not what happened during the day/week. And unlike a blog, you can let people know in minutes because the posts are short and can be made via the site, chat programs, desktop applications and even your cellphone.
